Needing to connect DS Lite: Netgear WNR1000v2

Hey,

We've been trying in vain for several days now to get my Son's DS lite online.  He bought the Japanese version of Black to try and get the mystery gift Shiny Raiquaza before April 16th.

He has a 3DS as well, so he'd never really tried to get the DSlite online before now.  So it's giving us the Error 51300.  My router is Netgear WNR1000v2, V1.1.2.50.  It's currently set at WPA2-PSK [AES].

We've tried the following.

Turning security options completely off the router... still giving us same error code.

Went to a public free Wi-Fi place, same thing.

Went to our local GameStop to see if those guys could help... they suggested trying to see if the router had the DS's MAC address allowed and if not putting it in.  So I did that... nothing... But I am not sure if I did that part correctly.

He spent almost $70 on the Japan game so any help would be much appreciated.  Thank You!

I can't get a Friend Code on AC: Wild World?

I'm currently using a NETGEAR WNDR3400v2 and I have a problem. I have a wi-fi connection made so that you need to put in a password for it. It is not a string of numbers, but a word and a number. The plain old Wi-Fi for getting on the Internet, Flipnote, etc. is in the "Advanced Settings" and it allows me to put in the word+number password just fine. However, when I try to set up the same connection to get a Friend Code on AC:WW, it won't let me use the same connection settings. The website says that you cannot use the word+number password but the actual WEP Key. I can't find it, at all, just the word+number password. So I used a WEP converter online and have tried all the passwords. Nothing worked.

So I decided that after trying many methods people told me to do (but none worked), I wanted to "manually" put in the settings. So I went onto my NETGEAR Router information and pu what was on there on my DSi: The Gateway, Primary and Secondary DNS, Subnet Mask, and IP Address. All that stuff. But now it just gives me the 52100 error code after I do this.

I don't know what to do any more. I'm ready to throw this router out the window. Do you have any suggestions?

Pokemon gen IV internet help

Alright, so here's my problem and hopefully you can help me fix it:

I have a DS lite and a nintendo 3DS, now my 3DS connects to the internet fine and it works great but when i try to connect to the internet through pokemon diamond and pokemon heart gold, it doesn't work. I tried it on my DS lite first and it didn't work so i thought i would try it on my 3DS but still to no success. However, when i play pokemon white, the internet works fine. I've read a bunch of forums about this but couldn't find the right one for my problem. Anyway, I have a dlink DIR-615 router and it is set to WEP security and i have a password for it and it works on every device in the house, except for when i'm trying to use those two games. For example, when i'm trying to connect to pokemon diamond, I go to the wi-fi setup screen and It finds the connection fine with full bars and i put in the right password and it all seems fine until I test the connection; the connection icon turns red showing me no bars and it gives me the error code 51300.

I'm not quite sure what to do and i don't want to screw up my modem too much so it doesn't work anymore, so any help or suggestions are much appreciated!

Thank you very much for your help!

College network restrictions

So, I am currently lodged at a college campus which specifically does not allow gaming via wireless connectivity, but will allow wired game consoles to register into the network. I am wondering if there is any way to wire a 3DS to a network, such as through a router-like medium connected by LAN cable. I'm willing to take moderately expensive measures to overcome this obstacle. Thank you.

Can't connect to Nintendo DS to WFC and confused

I've been trying so many things to connect my Nintendo DS to wifi, but it just won't seem to work.

I used to use a nintendo wfc USB connector and it would connect just fine, but now it no longer seems to work. So then I figured I would just change my D-link router's security settings from WPA to none. So when I try to connect my DS, the open network is detected with full bars, but when it runs a connection test it can't connect and gives me error code 51300. I don't understand, shouldn't it be able to easily connect to an open network with no security?

I'm trying to get my animal crossing for my NintendoDS connected to the WFC, but it's weird and I'm confused!!

On animal crossing for the original NintendoDS, I go to Cooper who is at the gate and allows you to open/close it, etc. When I ask him to register a friend code, he tells me about Nintendo WFC and wants to connect to it. Whenever it tries, it always fails and says "No compatible access point in range. Please Check your connection settings. For help call 1-800-895-1672 in the USA and Canada. You can also visit www.nintendowifi.com <51100>" And the last time I did it the code thing was, "<51099>".

I've been trying to go to other pre-made threads that talk about their issue but nothing is answering mine. I tried going to > http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/wfc/en_na/ds/connect.jsp< and listen to what it said, but whenever I clicked, "Search for an Access Point" it gives me this message: "The access point's security settings are not supported by the Nintendo DS. For help call 1-800-895-1672 (US & Canada) or visit www.nintendowifi.com." And I don't know what that means.

I tried to set it up manually but I don't understand the abbrivations or where to find the codes/names/passwords. Such as SSID, WEP Key, Auto-obtain IP Address, IP Address, Subject Mask, Gateway, Auto-Obtain DNS, Primary DNS, and Secondary DNS. In other words, I don't know anything they're asking for.

I even wrote down every code on my router and I have every code thing in front of me on my computer from the router site: http://192.168.1.254

I still don't understand a thing I'm looking at and I can't find a thread on any site where someone has already asked this question and recieved a helpful answer. PLEASE HELP ME! I wanna have friends on animal crossing and be able to upgrade the raccoon's shop. :/

System: 3DS - Cannot Connect to in-game Wi-Fi

I'm having issues trying to connect to in-game Wi-Fi.  I'm playing Pokemon HeartGold and at the GTS (Global Trading S...[unsure as to what the "S" stands for]) in Goldenrod City.  However, whenever I try, it keeps telling me that I'm unable to connect to Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.  I can connect to my internet router wirelessley using WPA2-PSK (AES), but not in-game.  Why can't I connect in-game?  I want to be able to trade Pokemon!

Please help!  Thanks!

Lost friend code to connect to others

Hi, I've nearly completed my pokemon game. My own friend code has vanished after trying to connect to the wifi club room, which stated the information from the ds didn't match the save file (my ds was preowned by someone else) so I tried to format it. It shut off, and when I turned it back on the friend code was gone, with all my friend codes. What can I do to get a friend code to trade with others again?

3DS wont connect to the internet

My 3ds (and my brother's 2ds) wont connect to the internet. Whenever we test the connection it shows three bars and the word 'internet' in the corner but then the connection test fails. It's been doing this for a few days now, both of our ds' began doing this on the same day. I don't think it's the router because I can connect to the wifi with my kindle.

I've seen a lot of other people having the same problem on all the forums but no one has an answer for the problem. I've reset the router and changed the router's channel to 11.

Oh, and the Error Code (on both ds') is 003-1101 which says we have the wrong security settings but I've tried all of the security settings possible and none of them work.

Hi I have been struggling cinnecting 2 Nintendo Dsi's to my router. Even though it does not have a setting for WEP I had made a guest wifi signal and it has been working fine untill i tried connecting both Dsi's together to play. Me and my brother can connect to the wifi to play online it works fine, but when we connect to eachother over wifi it either disconnects us or kicks us out of our freind lobby. Whenever we don't have wifi and we just want to play local (no wifi) it works fine. Please help! And what's the problem causing it.

Wifi connection with classic DS

I have a used classic model DS and I can't connect to the wifi network. Our home router is Dlink and as far as I know, we use WPA instead of WEP. Is there anything I can do besides change it to WEP to connect?

My 3DS isn't connecting either.

I set up a wi-fi access point, and all was going well.  I went to Internet Settings, went to Connection Settings, created a New Connection via Manual Setup, hit Search for Access Point, and I found the access point I set up.  But when it runs the Connection Test, I can't even connect to the access point for some reason.  The error I'm getting is similar.  It's 003-1102.  It's saying the encryption key may have been entered incorrectly, but I didn't even put an encryption key on the wi-fi access point.  I'm not sure what to do now.  I've tried restarting it and retrying to connect, but nothing has worked.  If it helps, I'm using a USB wireless adapter, rather than a wireless router.  Thanks in advance.
